USE BEFORE ENTERING ANY TAXI

Illegal or legal, black cab or other, or even getting a lift from someone you do not really know well, ‘SNAP' the number plate, or the driver, or their license permit – send this ‘SNAP' to SNAPiT8888 secure storage facility. If you feel threatened, inform the ‘threat' what you've done. Taking your phone from you is pointless for them. They have to understand that the evidence has gone and they will get caught.

If anything happened to you, report it to the Police, and let them know you sent a picture to SNAPiT8888. They can retrieve the 'evidence' photo which will give them more information than you may think:

• Number Plate
• Make of vehicle
• Colour of vehicle
• Any marks or stickers to differentiate this particular vehicle.
• Background information. eg Bar, shop, church in the background.
• Date and time the picture was received onto the SNAPiT8888 computer.
• Driver of vehicle. It is highly unlikely that a driver who will let you take his/her picture, and send it to
  SNAPiT8888, would then attack you afterwards.
